Celtic Knots design
These knots are painted to resemble embriodery with fine little lines forming each knot. The circle measures approximately 2 feet in diameter.
I have a good collection of Celtic fonts that I'd be happy to share with you for the initials so this is only one of many possibilities for the lettering style.
There were also two bands of knotting painted at each end of the runner, one of which is pictured here. They were placed about five feet in from each end of the runner.
